Eli KAPON, Founder and Chief Scientist
Prof. Eli Kapon has over twenty-five years experience in research and development in the areas of optoelectronics and nanotechnology.
He worked at CaltechCalifornia on diode laser arrays and later at Bellcore, New Jersey, on integrated optoelectronics and semiconductor nanostructures.
After serving at Bellcore he became Professor of Physics of Nanostructures at EPFL (the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland)
where one of the research projects served as the seed for establishing BeamExpress. He is the author or coauthor of numerous publications and several
patents. He earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Tel Aviv University, Israel. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, the IEEE and the Optical
Society of America.
Peter BORDUI, Chairman of the Board
Peter Bordui has been chairman of BeamExpress since June 2010. He is also currently chairman of Media-Lario, a Luxembourg-based developer of
reflective optics for application in semiconductor photolithography. He additionally serves as a director of Polytech Ventures, a Swiss
seed-capital investment fund. In the past ten years, he has served as director or chairman of a number of public and private technology companies
